Ajay Vashee

I came to IVP from Dropbox, where I guided the company through its IPO and first several years as a public company. As a first-time CFO, I stepped into a leadership role early in my career, and learned firsthand how to build, support and inspire a high-performing team. I also grew to embrace the uncertainty that’s inherent to leading a growth-stage company. I’m most proud of the impact my organization had—helping Dropbox scale to billions in ARR and hundreds of millions of users.

As an investor, I’m always on the lookout for companies that are solving big problems in market categories on the precipice of disruptive change. My experience as an operator is invaluable to my work at IVP, and I’m committed to being a hands-on, active partner to every company I invest in. I’m also focused on helping IVP build platform capabilities closely attuned to the needs of our founders. It’s why we launched the CFO Collective—the first community of its kind—which brings the brightest minds in strategic finance together to support one another and lay the groundwork for the future.
