Colin Fitzpatrick

I was inspired to pursue a career in venture after watching my parents build their small veterinary business in Chicago during the Great Recession. Together, they weathered economic hurdles and took significant risks to build a prosperous business.

This early exposure to the high-stakes world of launching a small company had a big impact on my career decisions. I knew I wanted to work with people who shared the same passion and commitment as my parents. Over the years, I’ve been able to work with numerous driven, innovative founders. Through my work at Qatalyst Partners, I helped multiple companies successfully achieve attractive M&A exits. In my current role at IVP, I love getting in the weeds with founders to help scale startups into market leaders. Supporting founders on their journey to success is a role that never ceases to inspire me.
