I grew up watching my dad, a surgeon with little free time, spend nights and weekends collaborating with medtech startups—tinkering with devices, testing new ideas, and advising early founders. Some ventures stumbled, a few found traction, but what stuck with me was the resilience and creativity it took to turn an idea into something real. That early window into entrepreneurship shaped the way I see venture: as a front-row seat to the exhilarating, uncertain moments when companies are just beginning to take shape and are full of possibility.

At Qatalyst, I had the chance to work with many of the most innovative private companies in tech as they navigated pivotal strategic decisions. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for how defining those moments can be—and how important it is to have the right partners around the table. But it also showed me that by the time companies reach that stage, much of the steepest growth has already passed. At IVP, I’m excited to be closer to the inflection point—when scaling is exponential, challenges are existential, and conviction matters most. I’m drawn to entrepreneurs who defy the status quo and rally their teams with passion, because it’s that mix of vision and resilience I’ve admired since the very beginning.
