Venture is the perfect nexus of my past experiences. I began my career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, where I developed a sense for outstanding operating and financial metrics and was introduced to tech companies at the forefront of their respective industries. I discovered a love of partnering with these transformational companies, but realized I wanted to be involved earlier in their journey.

I eventually moved on to an operational role at Hopin. Working on a lean, high-impact team at a fast-growing software company made me further appreciate the journey founders and their teams embark on to build transformational, sustainable businesses. What were hardcoded inputs and assumptions in a client's financial model during my time as an investment banker became critical business drivers that I had to understand deeply and work to improve to ensure strategy and finance functions ran smoothly as we grew.

As a venture investor, I'm now able to draw on my experiences to support founders who are disrupting and creating the industries of tomorrow, nudging them in the right direction when needed. Being able to propel iconic companies of tomorrow is a thrill in and of itself, but knowing that by shaping industries, these companies are shaping the lives of those who work within those industries energizes me day in and day out.
