Steven Fan joined IVP as a Senior Analyst in August of 2006. Prior to joining IVP, Steven was an Analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Technology, Media and Telecom Investment Banking division in San Francisco. While at Goldman, Steven advised a number of public and private companies on strategic and financing transactions including mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings and leveraged buyouts. He has worked on transactions for a number of leading technology companies including Sabre Holdings, SanDisk and Redback Networks.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Steven worked as a research assistant at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and held software engineering positions at Microsoft in Mountain View, CA.

Steven earned a B.S.E. in Computer Systems Engineering from Stanford University.
