Daniel Barney joined Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) in September of 2010. He focuses primarily on identifying and evaluating later-stage investments in the information technology and digital media sectors. Daniel actively works with IVP portfolio companies Buddy Media, ConnectAndSell, LiveOps, Marketo, One Kings Lane, Twitter, and Yodlee.

Prior to joining IVP, Daniel worked in the Technology Investment Banking Division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Daniel earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
