Andrew Barr joined Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) in August of 2011. He focuses primarily on identifying and evaluating later-stage investments in the information technology and digital media sectors.

Andrew actively worked on IVP's investments in Care.com, Dropbox, Hipmunk, LifeLock (LOCK), Mindbody, MobileIron, Kayak (KYAK), Voxer, and WhaleShark Media, and is actively involved with
Carbonite (CARB), H5, and Spiceworks.

Prior to joining IVP, Andrew worked at Qatalyst Partners, a technology-focused independent investment bank.

Andrew earned a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School and a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania.
